Security lights
Security lights will come on
at dusk and turn off at sunrise to let you
add protection for your family and your
property, plus add hours to your evening for
work or play..
For a monthly fee, a security
light can be installed on your property.
Security lights can only be installed on
HFRECC’s poles. The security light usage
does not go through your meter, but the fee
is a set charge each month. After the
security light is installed, Hickman-Fulton
Counties RECC will maintain the light for
you. Just give us a call and let us know
if your light needs to be
repaired and we will take care of the rest
for you.
In order to comply with the
Energy Act of 2005 and to continue our
commitment to protecting the environment,
the Cooperative will begin using high
pressure sodium lights in its members’
security lights. The high pressure sodium
lights cast a more yellow light.
