Reporting an Outage

At HFRECC, we work diligently to deliver reliable electricity at the lowest cost possible. We continually invest dollars and resources in our physical electric system. The result is greater system reliability and a system well prepared for growth.

Despite our best efforts, there still may be times when you experience an interruption in your service.

If this happens, please call us at 1-800-633-1391.  Our staff stands ready to receive your call 24-hours, seven days a week, 365 days a year.  HFRECC partners with Cooperative Response Center, Inc.

CRC's support and service to Hickman-Fulton RECC is a seamless operation of call handling. Members may call  1-800-633-1391 to report electrical outages, pay bills by phone, or turn in a service request. These calls automatically are forwarded to CRC when calls are not being handled by the HFRECC office. CRC will handle calls for HFRECC after 4:00 p.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays.

When calling to report an outage, please provide the operator:

  • the telephone number for the location of the outage,

  • your account number if you know it,

  • your service address, and

  • any other pertinent information.  For example, if you saw a downed electric line or if you heard a loud noise just prior to the outage, this information will enable us to better understand the nature of the problem and restore your service more quickly.
