Tax Dollars Benefit Area
Hickman-Fulton Counties Rural Electric Corporation paid
$108,451.55 in 2012 ad valorem taxes to Fulton, Hickman, Carlisle,
and Graves, the City of Hickman, and the State of Kentucky. In
addition to the Kentucky taxes, a total of $5,615.00.00 was paid in
Obion and Lake Counties in Tennessee.
Each year, HFRECC pays taxes based on the assessed value of
HFRECC’s facilities and infrastructure, including buildings,
substations, transformers, poles and lines.
Greg Grissom, President/CEO Hickman-Fulton Counties RECC
said the cooperative takes great pride in serving our communities by
not only providing reliable electric service, but also by being an
active member of our communities in which our members work and live.
HFRECC is glad that our tax dollars will benefit our
communities and our customer-owners.
